Capittana was founded in October 2014 by Raffaella and Stefano, sister and brother, and started as a small start-up to offer fashion-forward and high-quality swimwear to the women of Peru. Since then, operations have expanded beyond national borders to South America, North America, Europe and Asia.
THE WORD ‘CAPITTANA’ MEANS ‘FEMALE CAPTAIN’ WHICH REPRESENTS A STRONG, CONFIDENT AND INDEPENDENT WOMAN WHO LIVES LIFE WITH PASSION.
All of our products represent sustainability and female empowerment . The fabrics are produced in a factory that recycles its water, uses solar panels and has tree plantations to neutralize its carbon output. After, the garments are handcrafted by at-risk women and single mothers in Lima, Peru. These women are not just employees but partners of the brand. We strive to empower them by lifting them out of poverty, providing a stable income and offering a safe, welcoming working environment.
I have couple other tops i wear with these bottoms because they're really useful in more ways than one. Good choice if you want something you can wear with other tops.

very cute
Love these bottoms! I have been buying only cheeky style for a couple of years now because I realized that they make your bum look smaller! Waaaayyyy smaller! These are really well made and lined which I like so that it doesn't cling and look weird in the front when I come out of the pool. Definitely recommend

Old School High Rise!
Once I saw these bottoms, I had to buy them.
They look amazing on, totally old school high rise.
Great wearing material too. I've washed them a bunch (by hand of course) and the color has not faded at all.

Peek A Boo!
This top is so fun to wear. It is full coverage but is still fun and sexy with the peek a boo detail.
